Polytech® Reticulated Foam, Type - S

Polytech® Reticulated Foam, Type - S (PRF), is an ester based urethane foam in which the membrane windows of the foam’s cell structure have been thermally removed.

Density: 1.8 lb/ft³
Temperature Range: -40 deg F to 225 deg F.
Flamability: UL900 Class 2 Filter Media
Available in a range of pore sizes from 10 to 90 ppi.
Completely open celled, consistent cell structure.
Easily fabricated for a wide variety of uses.

Applications include heavy-duty air filters for trucks, buses and off-highway equipment.

Polytech® Reticulated Foam, Type - T

Polytech® Reticulated Foam, Type - T (PRF-T) is an ether based urethane foam in which the membrane windows of the foam’s cell structure have been thermally removed.

Density: 1.8 lb/ft³
Temperature Range: -40 deg F to 225 deg F.
Flamability: UL900 Class 2 Filter Media
Available in a range of pore sizes from 10 to 60 ppi.
Increased stiffness over the Type S reticulated foams, Hydrolytically stable

Applications include heavy-duty air filters for trucks, buses and off-highway equipment.

Polytech® Reticulated Felted Foam

Polytech® Reticulated Felted Foam (PRFF-900ZB) is a flexible, compressed urethane foam. PRFF is made from a reticulated ester or ether based polyurethane open-cell foam.

Density: 5.7 lb/ft³ (after compression)
Temperature range: -40 deg F to 225 deg F
Flammability: UL900 Class 2 Filter Media.
Exceptional sound attenuation, effective over a wide range of frequencies.
Exhibits outstanding filtration efficiency, high physical strength, excellent abrasion resistance and oil wicking characteristics.

Applications include medical and business equipment.

Polytech® Drip-Dry Reticulated Foam

Polytech® Drip-Dry Reticulated Foam (PRF-DD25) is a reticulated ether based polyurethane foam that sheds water and dries rapidly after exposure to rain, snow, washing or other forms of moisture.

Density: 2 lb/ft³
Temperature range: -40 deg F to 225 deg F
Flammability: UL900 Class 2 Filter Media.
Exceptional sound attenuation, effective over a wide range of frequencies.

Applications include radiator filters on outdoor equipment and also as air and/or water filters.
