Polymer Takes on The Work Truck Show
Several Polymer employees were lucky enough to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana for the annual Work Truck Show presented by the NTEA. The 2015 show had a record-setting 11,005 industry professionals.
Polymer was able to network with quality connections at our booth, as most contacts spent 15 minutes to a half hour inquiring about our acoustical insulation and molded products. Duraflex drew a great deal of interest due its increased lifespan compared to traditional rubber mounts.
The Polymer booth was equipped with a replica air duct, one of which was unlined, and others with our acoustical foam. There was a speaker mounted to the base of the unit playing an audio file of a diesel engine, allowing us to demonstrate the noticeable benefit of acoustical insulation on noise reduction.
All in all, the annual Work Truck Show is a great event for our industry, and we expect it to continue to grow and set new attendance records. It provides both Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and buyers a chance to be exposed to the many options and improvements that are available throughout the supply chain.
We ventured to the 2015 Work Truck Show with various goals, some relating to acquiring leads, but most importantly we wanted to introduce and display the capabilities of our product offerings and increase the brand awareness of Polymer Technologies. We can happily say that we accomplished those goals and impressed many with the solutions we can provide.
While we saw, experienced, and learned a lot from our trip to the 2015 Work Truck Show, the major takeaway for us was the resounding positive response to our synergistic capabilities, including acoustical, thermal, shock and vibration control technologies with sound engineering. Manufacturers appreciate and welcome working with a company that is solution oriented and customer focused rather than a run of the mill catalog house. The Work Truck show was a great experience and success for us, and we look forward to seeing what they have planned for 2016!
