Finding the right rubber for the job can be a challenge, as different rubber compounds provide unique benefits and limitations. Natural rubbers come from the Pará rubber tree and offer good dynamic performance, but are more easily damaged by sunlight, chemicals, and heat. Synthetic rubbers are created from petroleum and are more resistant to oils, chemicals, oxygen, and temperature fluctuations. DuraFlex® is a blend of natural and synthetic rubbers to provide the most beneficial properties of both types of rubber. By combining the best of both, DuraFlex® has the highest known resiliency of any rubber blend in existence, but seeing is believing.
