TUFFYLM® Film (BU, WU, NU, GU)

TUFFYLM® Urethane Film is a tough, abrasion resistant Polyurethane film that resists punctures and tears. It also exhibits good resistance to chemicals and moisture.

POLYTECH® RAF Foil Facing is an aluminum foil facing reinforced with a glass fiber and thermally fused to an aluminized backing. It is excellent for reflecting radiant heat in 400°F and below applications.

POLYTECH® XRV Facing

POLYTECH® XRV Facing is a strong, attractive, abrasion-resistant reinforced vinyl material that is offered as a protective/decorative facing on various foams. When installed, it is microporous, which enhances its acoustical absorption properties and at the same time resists penetration of liquids. It is stable up to temperatures of 180°F.

POLYDAMP® Mass Fabrics

POLYDAMP® Mass Fabrics are acoustical barriers typically used with aircraft thermal and acoustical insulation, like Polydamp® Hydrophobic Melamine Foam (PHM), to increase transmission loss in aircraft fuselage applications. These materials are lightweight to reduce the cost of operations, durable to increase longevity, and flexible for quick installation. H3320 with PHM is Boeing approved under BMS 8-385 Type 2, Grade 1.

POLYDAMP® RMEKL1 Covering Film

POLYDAMP® RMEKL1 Covering Film is a scrim reinforced, metalized polyetheretherketone (PEEK) film with flame retardant heat activated adhesive. This film is suitable for covering aircraft thermal, acoustic insulation, including POLYDAMP® Ultra-Lite Hydrophobic Melamine Foam. This covering film meets FAR 25.856a, 25.853 and 25.855 specifications.

POLYTECH® Reinforced & Metalized PEEK Film Facings (RMEKL5)

POLYTECH® Reinforced and Metalized PEEK Film Facings (RMEKL5) is an extremely lightweight, tough, tear-resistant film that exhibits excellent resistance to acids, bases, oxidizing agents, hydrocarbons, salts, and steam. It is insoluble in all common solvents. It acts as an ideal film facing for demanding applications and aircraft applications.
