Update Notes: This update is to notify our customers of Polymer Technologies’ current state of operation as we begin to all see increases in state restrictions due to the rising numbers of positive COVID-19 cases throughout the United States. There have been no positive cases at any of our three divisions since May of this year. Our divisions continue to follow our COVID-19 Health and Safety Guidelines. There have been no other changes to the below COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan as Polymer Technologies continues to operate as “Essential to Critical Infrastructure Manufacturer”. Our priority continues to be maintaining a safe work environment for our many employees while we continue to support our many customers in their mission to manufacture products critical to the infrastructure of our country and families.

On March 19, 2020 the U.S. Department of Homeland Security released the "MEMORANDUM ON IDENTIFICATION OF ESSENTIAL CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE WORKERS DURING COVID-19 RESPONSE" signed by Christopher C. Krebs the Director of Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA).

Polymer Technologies Inc. manufactures products that are critical to sustaining the infrastructure that supports the life of all those who are and will be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Polymer Technologies is categorized as an "Essential to Critical Infrastructure Manufacturer". In the event of a mandatory shutdown of all businesses except those deemed essential, we will remain open to continue producing the critical parts that we supply to our many customers who are creating the life-saving products that will support the world through the COVID-19 pandemic.

The below actions have been taken to ensure our business continuity.

• Employee Health and Safety Guidelines
  Our COVID-19 guidelines continue to be practiced by all divisions and will be updated as required to ensure compliance with Federal/ State mandates and guidelines.
• Supply Chain Assurance
  All suppliers have been formally notified of their responsibility to continue to supply Polymer Technologies, Inc. per U.S. Department of Homeland Security directives and where necessary business continuity plans have been requested.
• Local and State Outreach
  Polymer Technologies Inc. continues to be in contact with local and state legislatures to ensure they understand our position as an Essential to Critical Infrastructure Manufacturer.
• Workforce Continuity Planning
  Employees who are crossing State lines during times of restriction receive official letters stating their position as an “Essential to Critical Infrastructure Worker.”

In the event of positive COVID-19 cases at any of our three divisions, we will immediately execute our COVID-19 response plan with the goal of first protecting our valued employees while immediately working to maintain production for our many customers. In the event of an outbreak our plan will be executed and our customers will immediately be notified of any resulting delays in shipment.

Our COVID-19 Business Continuity Plan will continue to be updated as required.
